I just released a blog post explaining how to setup an environment for reading and writing Japanese on NixOS. I thought some people on here might find it interesting:

It should be helpful to anyone who wants to use Japanese on NixOS, as well as a good starting point for someone who wants to use any other Asian language on NixOS.

yes. i would love it too. Many of the options have been deprecated and updated. so the old guide doesn’t work.
