I was previously using nixos-infect to set up cloud VMs with NixOS, but I recently saw the nixos-anywhere announcement and wanted to give it a try.

I ended up with this video walkthrough and this template repo for anyone else who would like to follow along.

Note that this seems to be reading the secrets into the nix store. I wonder how one would go about automatically generating host keys and re-keying agenix/sops-nix secrets using the new key before the install performed by nixos-anywhere.
