Slow wake from sleep (~45 seconds) on Lenovo Yoga Slim 7

Hi everyone,

I recently installed NixOS on my Lenovo Yoga Slim 7. Almost everything is working perfectly, but I’m running into an issue with suspend/wake.

When my laptop goes to sleep (for example, when I close the lid), it takes about 45 seconds to actually wake up and become usable again. I have NixOS running on another laptop with zero issues, so it seems specific to this hardware or configuration.

I’ve done some initial digging but haven’t been able to pinpoint the cause or find a working solution yet. Has anyone experienced something similar with the Yoga Slim 7 or have any ideas on what might be causing the hang?

To help with debugging, here is some relevant info about my setup:

  • NixOS Version: 26.11.20260606.a799d3e (Zokor)

  • Kernel Version: 7.0.11

  • Desktop Environment / Window Manager: Gnome / niri

  • CPU / GPU: AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 w/ Radeon 860M / Integrated Graphics

If there are specific journalctl logs or configuration snippets from my configuration.nix that would be helpful to share, please let me know. Any pointers on how to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
