Static timestamp for channels expected?

I only noticed today and after some network delays I experienced that the timestamp for the nixpkgs channels seem a bit unusual, for comparison here that workflow run that updated my flake references: Update flake.lock by github-actions[bot] · Pull Request #60 · 573/nix-config-1 · GitHub

Or is that a regular thing ?

For tarball flakes, the value of the lastModified flake attribute is defined as the timestamp of the newest file inside the tarball.
