Strange behavior when adding my hba

  • SuperMicro x9sri-f
  • LSI 9211-8i (in IT mode)

When I boot the system with my live iso it:

  1. doesn’t set the static IP, but (169…)
  2. the cli freezes after a minute

I tried to put it in all 3 pcie slots
I tried adding these to the live iso:

  boot.swraid.enable = true;
  boot.initrd.availableKernelModules = [ "mpt3sas" ];

When I remove the hba everything works again.

I have another hba somewhere that I’ll try next. This hba did work last time I used it(2 years ago).
