I’m fairly new, but would be interested in getting a newer version of awscli2 set up with Nixpkg. It looks like 2.2.4 is the latest in Nix (NixOS Search - Loading...) but 2.2.14 is the latest from Amazon (https://github.com/aws/aws-cli/blob/88c5cc1b3bd8465a961f2933c42215ada8b86a6f/CHANGELOG.rst).
Is it generally frowned upon to email the maintainers of a package to ask for an update? Is there a forum where I can offer, say $20 to someone to help get the update progress started?
