Use nix version from flake?

hey there,
i figured i’d try and use a newer version of nix for the command-line tool than offered in nixpkgs.
i tried to do this similar to how i’d approach this for other applications, but found this didn’t work for me, instead yielding me an error along the lines of:

error: collision between /nix/store/*-nix-*/libexec/nix/build-remote' and /nix/store/-nix-/libexec/nix/build-remote’

is overriding nix version somehow different?

You seem to have nix and nixFlakes in your home.packages. I think this might be the culprit since they will produce some of the same binaries and you cannot have both in your environment at the same time.
