I’m trying to open stuff from another subvolume in vs-code. I can open the same thing in kate / xed without a problem, but vs-code either displays the opened file as completely empty, or gives me this error instead of starting:
bwrap: Can't chdir to /.btrfs_root/@subvolume/path No such file or directory
I tried to launch it through the terminal and through the desktop launcher. both paths failed to open paths from that subvolume that kate and xed had no problems opening
I’m using Manjaro as my default daily-driver OS on my new Lenovo P16v Gen1 laptop, and had hoped to setup and get used to NixOS on the side, but sadly my experience with NixOS so far has been horrible.
I had hoped to find something super stable due to the theoretically perfect reproducibility due to the declarative setup / configuration style, but wherever I look there’s problems and problems piling on with stuff that I never had trouble with on other distributions.
The installer worked fine, and other non KDE Plasma desktops too, but I’ve mostly lost my motivation to work on NixOS adoption for now…
