Back in 2020, when I barely started using Linux, I was using Fedora as my main driver. I always looked forward to the major release events, indicated by their codenames or version numbers.
These parties were virtual via Zoom, and they hosted games, and etc.
I always thought it was a cool way to be in touch with community, share accolades and accomplishments, make announcements, and etc.
Has there been any interest in someone from the Nix community organizing this type of “virtual event”?
Yeah, I’d say the release retrospective is essentially a release party. We discuss how the release went, what to improve, and general discussion after the release.
