I am not sure if it is possible to compile from source right now *at all*, with the conflicting dependencies. Preserving ArgvZero is supported from MacOS 14 Sonoma forward, which is the curr…ent minimum supported version of nixpkgs. See https://developer.apple.com/documentation/virtualization/running-intel-binaries-in-linux-vms-with-rosetta#Mount-the-Shared-Directory-and-Register-Rosetta The necessity of this fix came up with python virtual environments, because python uses the path of the executable (argv zero) to determine if it should load a virtual environment or not. In the past this was overriden with NIX_PYTHONEXECUTABLE, NIX_PYTHONPATH and NIX_PYTHONPREFIX, but we stopped doing that for the python interpreter so it works more like a normal python interpreter in nix. Without those variables, in the rosetta emulated case, python was no longer able to determine where it was called from, and thus could not correctly activate virtual environments in that case. Investigation and this suggestion for the fix happened here. #461884 This is related to, but not the same issue as was observed here: #461406 This problem was introduced here https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/442540 where virtual env creation was changed so the interpreter was special cased and no longer sets the above mentioned variables. ## Things done For stage2 systemd units, you can set `systemd.*.services.path…` to add those binaries to PATH. This partially works for stage1 systemd as well. The issue is that the referenced store paths are not copied to the initrd nix store, even though the PATH variable is set to those store paths. This commit fixes this. To me it feels like it should be possible to automatically solve this though nix-copy-closure mechanism, but I am not quite why its not already working. I guess its because we manually decide the exact store paths that should be included in the initrd. I saw that this [blogpost](https://blog.decent.id/post/nixos-systemd-initrd/) used `services.*.path`. Supersedes #347797, since that was one of the first modules I've ever written an…d as a result ended up being kind of a mess... Adds a module & tests for #346281. Main differences from the first attempt are that I dropped multi-instance since it wasn't particularly useful, removed the auto-setup of hugepages/kernel modules & rewrote the config parser - it and everything else should be significantly more readable now. Apart from that, it's mostly the same in terms of available options and defaults, and the tests are practically just copied over. Systemd hardening is also something I want to do eventually, but I think it'd be best to leave that for a future PR. 1) Update the `OpenUtau` package version from 0.1.529 to 0.1.565. Diff: https:/…/github.com/stakira/OpenUtau/compare/build/0.1.529...0.1.565 2) Adds `libXi` as a runtime dependency which resolves a long-standing issue with OpenUtau on NixOS, where the right-click menu in the track field would not render at all.
